Service to the Public
The firm welcomes opportunities to meet the accessibility and communication needs of people with disabilities. Our physical premises at 115 Berkeley Street are located in a historic converted Victorian residence which has five steps at the entrance. New clients and potential clients are to be informed of this prior to attending at 115 Berkeley Street. When requested, we will arrange for meetings by videoconference and off-site meetings at accessible locations. We will in all cases seek to ensure that confidentiality and dignity are respected. Also when asked, we will provide information in accessible formats or with communication supports. We will also consult with people with disabilities to determine their communication needs.
Employment
The firm welcomes opportunities to meet the needs of employees and potential employees with disabilities. When requested, we will accommodate disabilities during recruitment processes, when people are hired and during their careers.
All of our policies should be read in a manner that conforms with this policy and promotes the dignity and independence of people with disabilities.
