Dominique Zipper

Dominique holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with great distiction, from McGill University in Montreal. Her major area of study was English - Cultural Studies, with minors in Anthropology and German and one term spent in rigorous field studies in East Africa. She earned her bachelor of laws degree at Dalhousie University in Halifax in 2010 with an exchange term at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany. She holds a Certificate of Proficiency in Business German from the Goethe Institute and is fluent in oral and written German.

Before working with Swadron Associates from 2016 to 2017, Dominique articled and was hired back as an associate lawyer at the insurance defence litigation firm Reisler Franklin LLP, eventually becoming the firm's manager of student and professional development programs while carrying a full case load. While at Dalhousie, she served as a research assistant in the area of state intervention in the decisions of older adults and conducted research regarding stigma for the Industrial Accident Victims’ Group of Ontario (IAVGO).

In April 2017, Dominique started a new phase of her career as an ATE Insurance Manager at DAS Canada. The firm wishes her every success in her new role.
