Marshall Swadron speaks at 2012 OBA Annual Institute

February 9, 2012 - Toronto - Marshall Swadron spoke today at the Trusts and Estates section of the 2012 Annual Institute of the Ontario Bar Association on the subject of the use of capacity assessments. Swadron spoke in a panel that also included Madam Justice Susan Himel of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Dr. Kenneth Shulman of Sunnybrook Health Science Centre and capacity assessor Pauline Morris of Elder Caring Inc. The panel was moderated by Danielle Joel of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP.

Swadron also presented a paper at the Institute, which is the largest continuing legal education program in Canada. The paper is entitled "Capacity Assessments in Contested Guardianship Proceedings" and was prepared with Karen Steward of Swadron Associates. Please click here to read the paper.
