Kelley Bryan speaks at Law Union of Ontario annual conference

March 16, 2013 - Toronto - Kelley Bryan of Swadron Associates spoke today at the Law Union of Ontario annual conference. This year's conference, "Looking Forward, Looking Back, 40 Years of Struggle", was held at Victoria College of the University of Toronto. Kelley spoke about proceedings before the Consent and Capacity Board on a panel entitled "Mental Health and Justice: Three Unique Voices – Psychiatric Survivors, Defence and Crown Counsel". The panel included mental health law advocate Anita Szigeti, Crown lawyer Katalin Kirec, defence counsel Sarah Shartal and Lucy Costa of the Empowerment Council of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
