Romi Mintchev

Romi does the invisible tasks that keep our team well-organized and our workplace healthy and happy.

Romi joined Swadron Associates in January 2023 as our new Office Manager and Lawyer Support. She had big shoes to fill in, replacing Eunice Swadron upon her retirement. Romi brings her extensive experience in administrative roles and her background in mental health and social justice law. For 22 years, Romi was Justice Suzan Fraser's law clerk and office manager before she was appointed to the bench.

Romi holds a Master of English degree from the University of Sofia and a Bachelor of Education from OISE/University of Toronto. Romi’s experience in dozens of inquests, federal and provincial inquiries, and appellate work is a tremendous asset to our firm. Romi’s kind and thoughtful approach is aimed at team building and efficiency. She fosters a supportive work environment for our staff, essential for productivity and morale.
